Employment Purposes Law and Legal Definition
According to 15 USCS § 1681a (h), [Title 15. Commerce and Trade; Chapter 41. Consumer Credit Protection; Credit Reporting Agencies] the term employment purposes when used in connection with a consumer report means “a report used for the purpose of evaluating a consumer for employment, promotion, reassignment or retention as an employee.”
