Employment Status Law and Legal Definition
Employment status is the status of a worker in a company on the basis of the contract of work or duration of work done. A worker may be a full-time employee, part-time employee, or an employee on a casual basis. S/he could be employed temporarily for a specific project only, or on a permanent basis. Part-time wage labor could combine with part-time self-employment. The worker could be employed also as an apprentice.
