Endangerment Assessment Law and Legal Definition
Endangerment assessment is an evaluation of specific risk assessment of the actual or potential danger to environment and human health or welfare of people from the release of hazardous substances or waste. The endangerment assessment document is prepared in support of enforcement actions under Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA) or Resource Conservation and Recovery Act 1976 (RCRA).
