Entitle Law and Legal Definition
Entitle means to grant a legal right to or qualify for; to furnish with a right or claim to something. For example, every citizen is entitled to equal protection under the law. Under Ecclesiastical law it means to ordain as a minister. Formerly it was also spelled as intitle.
