Entity Applicant [HUD] Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 24 CFR 200.1105 [Title 24 Housing and Urban Development; Subtitle B Regulations Relating to Housing and Urban Development; Chapter II Office of Assistant Secretary for Housing Federal Housing Commissioner, Department of Housing and Urban Development; Subchapter A General; Part 200 Introduction to FHA Programs; Subpart U Social Security Numbers and Employer Identification Numbers; Applicants in Unassisted Programs], Entity Applicant means “a partnership, corporation, or other association or entity, other than an individual applicant, that seeks to participate as a private owner (including where the entity seeks to assume an existing mortgage) under any of the programs referred to in § 200.1103.”
