Environmental Report [Energy] Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 51.14 [Title 10 – Energy; Chapter I -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission; Part 51 -- Environmental Protection Regulations for Domestic Licensing and Related Regulatory Functions; Subpart A -- National Environmental Policy Act -- Regulations Implementing Section 102(2)], the term environmental report means “a document submitted to the Commission by an applicant for a permit, license, or other form of permission, or an amendment to or renewal of a permit, license or other form of permission, or by a petitioner for rulemaking, in order to aid the Commission in complying with section 102(2) of NEPA.”
