According to 7 CFR 760.202 [Title 7—Agriculture; Subtitle B -- Regulations of the Department of Agriculture; Chapter VII -- Farm Service Agency, Department of Agriculture; Subchapter D -- Special Programs; Part 760 -- Indemnity Payment Programs; Subpart C--Emergency Assistance for Livestock, Honeybees, and Farm-Raised Fish Program], equine animal means “a domesticated horse, mule, or donkey.”
