Equipment [Education] Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 20 USCS § 3982 (2) [Title 20. Education; Chapter 52. Education for Economic Security; Partnerships in Education for Mathematics, Science, and Engineering; Higher Education Partnerships], the term equipment includes “machinery, utilities, and built-in equipment and any necessary enclosures of structures to house them, and includes all other items necessary for the functioning of a particular facility as a facility for the provision of educational services, including items such as instructional equipment and necessary furniture, printed, published, and audio-visual instructional materials, and books, periodicals, documents, and other related materials.”
