Equipment Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 49 CFR 18.3 [Title 49 – Transportation, Subtitle A -- Office of the Secretary of Transportation], the term equipment means “tangible, nonexpendable, personal property having a useful life of more than one year and an acquisition cost of $ 5,000 or more per unit.”
