Et Alia Law and Legal Definition
Et alia is a Latin term meaning "and others". It is often used in a case caption when all the parties are not named individually, such as John Doe v. Jane Doe, et al. The term may also be spelled et alii to refer to the masculine plural or et aliae to refer to the feminine plural.
