Exclusion of Witnesses Law and Legal Definition
According to USCS Fed Rules Evid R 615, at the request of a party the court can order to exclude witnesses so that they cannot hear the testimony of other witnesses. This rule does not authorize exclusion of a party who is a natural person, or an officer of a party designated as its representative by its attorney, or a person whose presence is essential to the presentation of the party's cause, or a person authorized to be present.
