Exposure Head Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 34.3 [Title 10 – Energy; Chapter I -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission; Part 34 -- Licenses for Industrial Radiography and Radiation Safety; Requirements for Industrial Radiographic Operations; Subpart A -- General Provisions], the term exposure head means “a device that locates the gamma radiography sealed source in the selected working position. (An exposure head is also known as a source stop.)”
