Express Covenant Law and Legal Definition
An express covenant is one expressly agreed between the parties and inserted in the deed. The law does not require any particular form to create an express covenant. In a written agreement under seal, any words showing the intent of the parties to do or not to do a certain thing will make an express covenant. [Lovering v. Lovering, 13 N.H. 513 (N.H. 1843)].
