Extrajudicial Divorce Law and Legal Definition
Extrajudicial divorce is divorce granted outside a court of law by a non-judicial process. It is generally a divorce granted by a religious body such as the Islamic Talaq or the Greek Orthodox Church. In some countries an extrajudicial divorce is considered as legal or binding if it is agreed upon by the parties.
