Most comprehensive data refers to the direct investment statistics that are disseminated and based on the most comprehensive regularly available data sources. These data may be preliminary and subject to revision. If a country compiles and disseminates data that have the same periodicity and are based on the same sources and coverage, the “most comprehensive data” are the same as the “most timely data”.
