Federal Account [Federal Elections] Law and Legal Definition
According to 11 CFR 300.2 (f) [Title 11 -- Federal Elections; Chapter I -- Federal Election Commission; Subchapter C -- Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002 -- (BCRA) Regulations; Part 300 -- Non-Federal Funds], the term Federal account means “an account at a campaign depository that contains funds to be used in connection with a Federal election.”
