Federal Form 4473 Law and Legal Definition
Federal form 4473 is the firearm transaction record of the U.S. government. The form needs to be filled when a person purchases a firearm from a federal firearm license holder. The form contains in it the details like:
1. name;
2. address;
3. date of birth; and
4. government issued photo ID.
Any false information entered in the form will be treated as a felony and will attract a punishment of upto five years in prison in addition to fines.
