Federal Funding Opportunity Law and Legal Definition
According to 13 CFR 300.3 [Title 13 -- Business Credit and Assistance; Chapter III -- Economic Development Administration, Department of Commerce; Part 300 -- General Information], Federal Funding Opportunity or FFO means “the notice EDA publishes annually at http://www.grants.gov and on EDA's Internet Web site at http://www.eda.gov that describes the amounts, particular application procedures, funding priorities, special circumstances and other relevant information concerning EDA's Investment programs for the year. EDA may also periodically publish FFOs on specific programs or initiatives.”
