Federally-Declared Disaster [Economic Development Administration, Department of Commerce] Law and Legal Definition
According to 13 CFR 300.3 [Title 13 -- Business Credit and Assistance; Chapter III -- Economic Development Administration, Department of Commerce; Part 300 -- General Information], Federally-Declared Disaster means “a Presidentially-Declared Disaster, a fisheries resource disaster pursuant to section 312(a) of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act, as amended (16 U.S.C. 1861a(a)), or other federally-declared disasters pursuant to applicable law.”
