Fetus Farming Prohibition Act Law and Legal Definition
The Fetus Farming Prohibition Act of 2006 bans the use and harvesting of human embryo for stem cell research. The Act prohibits:
1. the accepting and donating human fetus tissues; and
2. the accepting or acquiring of human embryo or fetus that was gestated in the uterus of a nonhuman animal.
The Act amends the Public Health Service Act.
