Final Data Capture Law and Legal Definition
When the issue fee and all other requirements have been met within the specified time, the patent application is forwarded to printer for final data capture. After the final data capture, the application is assigned a patent number and issue notification would be mailed approximately three weeks prior to the issue date of the patent.
