Final Decree Law and Legal Definition
Final decree is the final judgment issued by a court at the conclusion of legal proceedings. A court also issues a final decree in cases where it issued intermediate or temporary orders. E.g., Interlocutory decree of divorce is followed by final decree of divorce if parties cannot reconcile.
