Financing Law and Legal Definition
According to 13 CFR 107.50 [Title 13 Business Credit and Assistance; Chapter I Small Business Administration; Part 107 Small Business Investment Companies], Financing or Financed means "outstanding financial assistance provided to a Small Business by a Licensee, whether through:
(1) Loans;
(2) Debt Securities;
(3) Equity Securities;
(4) Guarantees; or
(5) Purchases of securities of a Small Business through or from an underwriter."
