Fireworks Plant Law and Legal Definition
Fireworks plant is a facility or an area used for the production of fireworks. The Federal Hazardous Substances Act prohibits the sale of the most dangerous types of fireworks to consumers. Firework plant must be established only in accordance with the federal and concerned state laws.
The following is an example of a federal regulation defining the term:
Pursuant to 27 CFR 555.11 ‘fireworks plant’ means “ all land and buildings thereon used for or in connection with the assembly or processing of fireworks, including warehouses used with or in connection with fireworks plant operations.”
