Fishery Resource Law and Legal Definition
According to 16 USCS § 4102 (Title 16, Conservation; Chapter 61, Interjurisdictional Fisheries), the term "Fishery Resource" means “finfish, mollusks, crustaceans, and any other form of marine animal or plant life, other than marine mammals and birds.”
