Fleet Marine Force [FMF] Law and Legal Definition
The Fleet Marine Force (FMF) is a balanced force of combined ground and air arms of the U.S. They are general and special purpose forces under the U.S. Department of Navy. The FMF are designed, equipped, and trained for offensive amphibious or expeditionary employment Marine Forces Atlantic and Marine Forces Pacific. The FMF acts as a responsive force of the National Command Authority. It can conduct operations in any spectrum of conflict across the world.
