Foreclosure by Entry and Writ of Entry Law and Legal Definition
Foreclosure by entry and writ of entry is a remedy for enforcing a mortgage by entry and possession by the mortgagee. Upon a foreclosure by entry and possession after a breach of the condition of the mortgage, and by holding such possession for the period allowed for redemption, the mortgage debt will be deemed paid to the extent of the value of the land.
