Friendly Visitors and Telephone Reassurance Program Law and Legal Definition
Friendly Visitors and Telephone Reassurance Program provides regular personal or telephone contact for older persons who are homebound or live alone. Volunteers often provide the service. These programs ensure that someone will have contact with the older person to identify their needs and notify those who can help. This is also known as companion services. This program has different titles in different communities.
