Fringe Pool is a indirect cost pool that is commonly established for the purpose of accumulating employee fringe benefit costs.Fringe Pool Rate is obtained from a process by taking all employee benefits for an employee group and averaging them into one fringe benefit rate for the group. Common costs accumulated in such pools include those for compensated absences, health insurance, bonuses, retirement plans, and payroll taxes.
