Full Court Law and Legal Definition
Full court means a court session attended by all court judges. It consists of a greater-than-normal number of judges. For instance, in appellate litigation, a session of an appellate court where all the judges participate is a full court. It typically results from a motion to reconsider the decision of a three judge panel. It is also called as a full bench, en banc court, or an en banc hearing.
