Lapse notice is a written notice provided by an insurer to the beneficiary stating that the insurance policy has lapsed. The first paragraph of lapse notice will state about the amount of premiums failed to be remitted. It also includes the date on which the premiums were due. The third paragraph will contain information about the amount of premium to be paid to get the policy reinstated.
