Launch Law and Legal Definition
According to 15 USCS § 5802 (5), [Title 15. Commerce and Trade; Chapter 84. Commercial Space Competitiveness] the term launch means “to place, or attempt to place, a launch vehicle and its payload, if any, in a suborbital trajectory, in Earth orbit in outer space, or otherwise in outer space.”
