Laws of the State of Maine Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 25 USCS § 1722 (d) [Title 25. Indians; Chapter 19. Indian Land Claims Settlements; Maine Indian Claims Settlement], the term laws of the State of Maine means “the constitution, and all statutes, regulations, and common laws of the State of Maine and its political subdivisions and all subsequent amendments thereto or judicial interpretations thereof.”
