Leachate Law and Legal Definition
According to 36 CFR 6.3 [Title 36 Parks, Forests, and Public Property; Chapter I National Park Service, Department of the Interior; Part 6 Solid Waste Disposal Sites in Units of the National Park System.] Leachate means “liquid that has percolated through solid waste and has extracted, dissolved or suspended materials in it.”
