League of United Latin American Citizens Law and Legal Definition
League of United Latin American Citizens (“LULAC”) is an organization for Hispanic Americans including Mexican Americans, Puerto Ricans, Central and South Americans. LULAC was created in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1929, with the aim of combating the discrimination that Mexican Americans faced in the United States Southwest. LULAC advances the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, health and civil rights of Hispanic Americans through community-based programs.
