Lecture is the method of instruction in college and university courses by professors. A faculty member conveys information by speaking to a class by means of a lecture. Lecture is a series of oral presentations given by a professor on a particular topic. It is an organized, formal instruction, usually in the style of a talk, delivered by an academic. It is an exposition of a given subject delivered before an audience or a class, for the purpose of instruction.
