Legal Guardian Law and Legal Definition
Legal guardian is a person appointed to take care and manage the person and property of someone else. Generally, legal guardians are appointed to take care of minors, and manage their property. However, guardians can also be appointed to care for old people and adults who are physically, mentally, or emotionally impaired. Court will supervise a legal guardian. S/he will be required to appear in court to give periodic reports about the status of the ward and their estate.
