Legal List Security Law and Legal Definition
Legal list security is a list of securities which a fiduciary is permitted to make for a fiduciary account. Such a list is prepared by a state agency, normally the State Insurance or State Banking Commissioner. Legal list securities are normally high quality debt instruments like government and municipal bonds and corporate bonds with high ratings.
