Legal Residence Law and Legal Definition
Legal residence means the permanent home of a person. It is the principal residence for legal purposes. Even though a person may have several residences s/he will have only one legal residence. It is the place of domicile of a person. It is the residence to which a person expects to return regardless of the other temporary residences that s/he has in other places.
