Legally Authorized Representative Law and Legal Definition
According to 7 CFR 1c.102 [Title 7 Agriculture; Subtitle A Office of the Secretary of Agriculture; Part 1c Protection of Human Subjects] legally authorized representative means an individual or judicial or other body authorized under applicable law to consent on behalf of a prospective subject to the subject's participation in the procedure(s) involved in the research.
