Legatine Constitution Law and Legal Definition
Legatine constitutions were ecclesiastical laws enacted in English national councils about the years 1220 and 1268. The councils were held under papal legates during the reign of Henry III. Legatine constitution provides that when anyone is absolved from excommunication, some shall publish such absolution.
