Libel Per Se Law and Legal Definition
Libel Per se means the broadcasting or publication of a false statement accusing another of a crime, immoral act or similar claims. In simple terms, libel per se means ‘by itself’. This offence is of a serious nature and any person libeled in is not required to prove that s/he suffered damage to his/her reputation.
