Liberty to Apply Law and Legal Definition
In certain jurisdictions, a court may make a liberty to apply order as a supplemental order to a main order or judgment, to aid in carrying out the main order or judgment. It is an order that a party may use to clarify or work out a ruling, rather than change it.
