Limiting Conditions for Operation [Energy] Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 76.4 [Title 10 – Energy; Chapter I -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission; Part 76 -- Certification of Gaseous Diffusion Plants; Subpart A -- General Provisions], the term limiting conditions for operation means “the lowest functional capability or performance levels of structures, systems, components, and their support systems required for normal safe operation of the plant.”
