Long Term Care Facility [Food and Drugs] Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 21 CFR 1300.01 (25) [Title 21 Food and Drugs; Chapter II Drug Enforcement Administration, Department of Justice; Part 1300 Definitions], the term Long Term Care Facility (LTCF) means “a nursing home, retirement care, mental care or other facility or institution which provides extended health care to resident patients.”
