Low-Income Communities Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 20 USCS § 1087ii (a), [Title 20. Education; Chapter 28. Higher Education Resources And Student Assistance; Student Assistance; Federal Perkins Loans] the term low-income communities means “communities in which there is a high concentration of children eligible to be counted under title I of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 [20 USCS §§ 6301 et seq.].”
