M Visa Law and Legal Definition
M Visa refers to a type of visa issued by the U.S. Immigration Services to international students attending nonacademic or vocational studies in the U.S. schools. It allows international students who are coming to the U.S. to attend an approved course of study leading to a specific educational or vocational objective and engage in full-course of study. At community and junior colleges, a full course of study is defined as at least 12 semester hours of instruction per academic term.
