Manager (Entertainment Law) Law and Legal Definition
In entertainment law, manager is a person or organization responsible for developing an artist's career. The manager normally advises the artist on all business decisions relating to his/her career. It is the duty of a manager to attempt to promote the artist through all available means, including demos, media coverage, and person-to-person networking. A manager is in a sense the promoter of an artist.
