Manufacturing License [Energy] Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 52.1 (a) [Title 10 – Energy; Chapter I -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission; Part 52 -- Licenses, Certifications, and Approvals for Nuclear Power Plants; General Provisions], the term manufacturing license means “a license, issued under subpart F of this part (10 CFR 52), authorizing the manufacture of nuclear power reactors but not their construction, installation, or operation at the sites on which the reactors are to be operated.”
