Margin Level Law and Legal Definition
The term margin level when used with respect to a security futures product, mean the amount of margin required to secure any extension or maintenance of credit, or the amount of margin required as a performance bond related to the purchase, sale, or carrying of a security futures product. [15 USCS § 78c].
